Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Umahi, CON, has directed Infiouest International Limited to fast-track the completion of the Abuja–Kaduna–Zaria–Kano road project.
He gave the directive after a meeting with Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, at his Abuja office, stressing President Tinubu’s commitment to timely delivery of national infrastructure.
Umahi disclosed that the Federal Government has committed over ₦754 billion to the project, which he described as vital to northern economic corridors.
Governor Sani commended the Minister’s passion and technical expertise, noting that completion of the road will ease trade and mobility across 12 states.
The contractor pledged to ramp up work within two weeks to meet the new targets.
