The Organizers of the RazorNews Inter-Agency Cooperation Lectures and Awards have announced that the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd) will be honoured with the distinguished “Thank You For Your Service” Award at this year’s conference.
The high-profile event, scheduled to hold at the Shoregate Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, will bring together leading figures from Nigeria’s security and intelligence community. Top decision-makers from the military, paramilitary agencies, law enforcement organizations, and the private security sector are expected to grace the occasion.
Now in its second edition, the annual Inter-Agency Cooperation Lectures and Awards is a flagship initiative of RazorNews designed to promote synergy, intelligence-sharing, and unified strategic action among Nigeria’s security institutions. This year’s conference focuses on inter-agency collaboration as a catalyst for combating terrorism, kidnapping, banditry, cybercrime, and other complex security challenges confronting the nation.
According to the organizers, General Musa was unanimously selected for the “Thank You For Your Service” Award in recognition of his exceptional leadership, strategic foresight, and unwavering commitment to national security. Since assuming office as Chief of Defence Staff, Musa has been widely commended for his relentless fight against terrorism and his ability to coordinate the Tri-Services—the Army, Navy, and Air Force—alongside the Nigeria Police Force and other security actors with unprecedented efficiency.
The award committee cited General Musa’s role in enhancing joint operations, improving operational doctrines, and strengthening inter-agency trust as key factors that informed his selection.
“General Musa has demonstrated remarkable courage, professionalism, and patriotism in the discharge of his duties. His leadership has fostered unity among Nigeria’s security agencies at a time when collaboration is most needed. This award is our way of saying thank you for a service rooted in sacrifice and dedication,” the organizers stated.
The event will also feature paper presentations, interactive sessions, and recognition of other agencies and individuals contributing significantly to Nigeria’s security ecosystem.
The RazorNews Inter-Agency Cooperation Lectures and Awards continues to gain national attention as a credible platform for celebrating excellence while stimulating robust conversations on strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture.
