“The knowledge and skills acquired during this course have empowered the participants to become better communicators and media strategists,” she said.

Anele urged the graduating officers to uphold the core values of the Nigerian Army and apply the knowledge imparted during the course in their various units.

She expressed appreciation to OO Oluyede, Chief of Army Staff, for his visionary guidance, which she said has elevated the Directorate’s professional standards.

She also acknowledged the support of the Chief of Training, Major General AS Ndalolo, whose office facilitated the resources for the training.

Additionally, Anele extended gratitude to the resource persons from the University of Northern Iowa, University of Abuja, National Open University, and Philomath University, Abuja, who exposed the participants to cutting-edge developments and global best practices in strategic communication.

Earlier in the event, Adamu Ngulde, Acting Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI), highlighted the significance of the Strategic Communication Course.

“In today’s world, where narratives can shape the battlespace as much as bullets, the role of strategic communicators is more crucial than ever. You are the bridge between the military and the public, your words, your messaging, and your integrity influence perception and bolster the Army’s credibility at home and abroad,” Ngulde stated.

He revealed that the course covered both theoretical and practical modules, with assessments across a wide range of communication subjects.
