The Minister of Works, Senator (Engr.) David Nweze Umahi, has congratulated the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, on his re-election, describing the victory as a clear endorsement of his visionary and people-oriented leadership.
In a congratulatory message issued on Sunday, Senator Umahi said Soludo’s resounding victory at the November 8, 2025 polls “underpines the implicit confidence of Ndi Anambra in his progressive leadership and developmental strides.”
He said the outcome of the election was not just a political triumph but a renewed social contract between the governor and the people of Anambra State, anchored on good governance, accountability, and transparency.
“You have done very well in changing the developmental trajectory of Anambra State. The new and encouraging indices of economic growth and development are visible proof of your commitment to the progress and prosperity of the state,” Umahi stated.
The Minister praised Governor Soludo for his humility and magnanimity in victory, urging him to sustain the momentum by promoting inclusive leadership and policies that will place Anambra among Nigeria’s leading sub-national economies.
“Your Excellency, I have no doubt in your capacity to deliver. Once again, congratulations, and please accept the assurances of the esteemed regards and best wishes of my family, the management, and staff of the Federal Ministry of Works,” Umahi added.
