The recently launched Nigeria’s first sex offender register is seen as a right step in the right direction towards tackling reported cases of sexual abuse, which are rising across the country and one of those joining their voice to this cause is Evangelist Bisola Hephzi-bah Johnson. She’s a victim of sexual abuse who has been very vocal in her advocacy for adequate punishment for sex offenders.

While lending her voice to the newly launched Sex Offenders Register, she want even more to be done to punish those involve in such heinous crime against humanity. Evangelist Bisola Hephzi-bah Johnson had before now been embroiled in a confrontation with the General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B. Joshua, who she said has been sexually assaulting her and many other church members.

According to the woman who still relives her nightmarish 14 years of constant abuse, her experience has taught her that sexual abuse victims needs help to be integrated back into the society and this is what informed her decision to set things in motion as she’s planning on starting a Non-Governmental Organization that will help re-integrate sexually abused girls especially those she claimed are still under bondage of Prophet T.B. Joshua.

In her words “I am also talking on behalf of other young girls that are still in the captivity of TB Joshua and those who recently left the fold and are presently with as I mentioned in my new book. The 8-years-old, 14-years-old and 11-years-old that are still there.”
