The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced plans to partner with Radah Media Company in a bold move aimed at strengthening strategic communication and leveraging technology to enhance police operations nationwide.
‎
‎This was disclosed on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, when the management of the Commission received a visiting team from Radah Media, led by its founder, Ms. Oge Funlola Modie.
‎
‎Speaking during the meeting, PSC Chairman, retired Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Hashimu Argungu, mni, declared the Commission’s readiness to embrace the collaboration.
‎
‎ “The Commission will always be interested in any partnership that improves police operations—especially those that help reduce crime, protect lives, and safeguard property,” Argungu stated.
‎
‎He, however, lamented the challenge of poor funding, stressing that it had hampered the Commission’s efficiency.
‎
‎“We continue to battle with inadequate funding, which affects our professional effectiveness. But this partnership will reposition the Commission for optimal service delivery,” he assured.
‎
‎On her part, Radah Media founder, Ms. Modie, expressed confidence that the collaboration would bring innovation and capacity-building to the PSC.
‎
‎ “We are committed to training in strategic communication, technology, and design. The Commission deserves better funding to fulfill its constitutional mandate, and we will help push that narrative in the national interest,” she affirmed.
‎
‎The partnership is expected to drive reforms in how the PSC communicates, engages the public, and deploys technology for improved policing outcomes.
