According to Uchechukwu, “This is our 49th anniversary thanksgiving and we are looking up to 50th anniversary which will be a landmark event.

“The society had its revival last Wednesday April 14, 2021 at AVMCC by and the speaker was the chaplain, Rev. Samuel Dahunsi of AVMCC and was fully attended by the church members.

“The society anniversary is usually marked during The Good Shepherd week as indicated in the church calendar of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion and that is why you see that all the readings, preaching and teaching is all about The Chief Shepherd which is Jesus Christ and we His followers, don’t choose date of our anniversary because we must follow the church calendar for the year as it normally falls after Easter celebration of each year”.

The theme for the good shepherd week is “Jesus our Shepherd” by the eternal covenant as declared in the church calendar by the Primate and entire house of Bishops.
