Nwokolo sympathizes with Agbor fire victims, announces financial support to affected shop owners

Member representing Ika Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, Hon(Barr) Victor Nwokolo has sympathized with the victims of the fire outbreak on Tuesday, January 16 at a popular business area in Agbor, Delta State. The Federal lawmaker who addressed journalists through his Senior Legislative Aide, Mr Okocha Okoruwe and Chief Jude Ogbekile shortly after their visit to the scene of the fire incident expressed sadness over the unfortunate fire incident but thanked God that no life was lost.

The federal lawmaker also expressed appreciation to residents who assisted in putting off the fire from spreading to neighbouring business areas and residential houses.

Nwokolo while reiterating his commitment to the growth and development of Ika Federal Constituency announces financial supports to the eleven affected shop owners, noting that the financial supports though may not be enough to restore all that were lost to the fire incident but, to cushion the effect of the damages.

Meanwhile, Hon(Barr) Victor Nwokolo has also identified with the management of Owa-Oyibu Mixed Secondary School, Owa Oyibu, headquarters of Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta State over a recent fire incident in the school.. He revealed that he has concluded plans to supply new furniture to the school so as to avoid any hitch in teaching and learning.

He assured the people of Ika Federal Constituency of his continued and strong commitment to their welfare. He urged them to keep supporting government efforts aimed at building a better Ika land.
