The National President of the Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association (NAFOWA) Dr Rakiya Abubakar has emphasized the transformative power of education, urging students to embrace learning as a key to unlocking their potential.

World Education Day, celebrated annually on January 24, the NAFOWA President underscored the significance of education in shaping the future of individuals and the nation at large.
Addressing students, she highlighted how education serves as the foundation for achieving dreams, whether in medicine, engineering, teaching, entrepreneurship, or leadership.
“Education is your key to a bright future,” she stated. “With knowledge, you can break barriers, shatter ceilings, and go beyond what anyone thinks impossible.”
She further stressed that education equips individuals with problem-solving skills, enabling them to tackle global challenges and create new opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Encouraging students to remain resilient and committed to their studies, the NAFOWA President advised, “Never let anyone tell you that you cannot succeed. You are strong, capable, and full of potential. Believe in yourself, work hard, and keep pushing forward.”
She urged students to “stay curious, ask questions, and never stop learning,” emphasizing that education empowers individuals to make meaningful contributions to society.
The event reinforced the critical role of education in national development and inspired students to pursue excellence in their academic journeys.
