Gwarimpa, Abuja was standstill today as Onicha-Ugbo, Aniocha North Local Government, Delta born Henry Onyinye Kachikwu married his missing rib, Ann Avovoma Suleman.
The colourful event began with payment of bride prize at the bride father’s house in Ushafa, Bwari, FCT where Anioma and Igarra culture had a gridlock. Because the groom’s father is late, his junior brother, Mr Stephen Kachikwu served as the father of the groom at the cultural wedding.
Mother of the groom was also present to give her blessings to the union.
It was immediately followed with an elegant reception at Kach Kleo Event Centre in the heart of Gwarimpa.
The reception was attended by those who matter in Anioma and Edo State.
The reception turned out to be a carnival of sort as grooms brothers, Ugo Kachikwu and Emeke Kachikwu who came in from USA and UK thrilled the guests with assorted expensive wines, Whiskey and brandies.
Onyinye and his newly wedded wife were full of excitement as the ground felt their energy as a result of their dance steps.
Henry Kachikwu, a real estate businessman, is a product of the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu.
