Tightness in fuel supply, distribution in Lagos, FCT is due to hitch in discharge operations of vessels – NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Ltd has said that fuel scarcity experienced in some parts of Lagos and Abuja was due to hitches in discharge operations of some vessels.

NNPC spokesman, Olufemi Soneye who made the disclosure noted that it would soon be over.

“The NNPC Ltd. wishes to state that the tightness in fuel supply and distribution witnessed in some parts of Lagos and the FCT is as a result of a hitch in the discharge operations of a couple of vessels.

“The Company further states that it is working round the clock with all stakeholders to resolve the situation and restore normalcy in the operations.” he said.
