The Nigeria Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) has honored Senator Ned Munir Nwoko of Delta North with the Integrity Senator of the Year Award for 2024.
The association noted that the award is in recognition of the Senator’s transformational leadership, philanthropic gestures, selfless service to humanity, patriotic zeal, and high sense of integrity.
In his acceptance statement, Senator Ned Nwoko remarked, “We are in a country where things should be working very well, but many people tend to cut corners. There’s a knack in me for showing value in what I do. I have also seen individuals at every stratum who still manage to live exemplary lives. I am honored that you have seen me as worthy of recognition and award. You mentioned that you went through various stages of scrutiny before deciding on your recipients. I appreciate it. It will inspire me to do more.”
