‎The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has arrived in Bamako, Mali, to attend the maiden Bamako International Defence and Security Exhibition, known as BAMEX 2025.

‎Badaru was received at the Military Wing of the Bamako International Airport by the Malian Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs, General Sadio Camara, and top military officials.
‎
‎A parade was mounted in his honour before the two defence ministers held a strategic meeting to explore avenues for closer cooperation on defence and regional peace.
‎
‎The BAMEX 2025 exhibition serves as a platform for African countries and international stakeholders to exchange ideas, showcase innovations in defence technology, and strengthen collective efforts toward regional stability.
