The Taraba State Government has reaffirmed its readiness to back Radio Nigeria Gift FM Jalingo in boosting its operations for better service delivery.
Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr. Jeji Williams, gave the assurance in Jalingo during a courtesy visit by the station’s management team.
He said: “Governor Agbu Kefas’ administration is committed to partnering with Gift FM in disseminating government programmes and enlightening the people on initiatives that will unite and uplift the state.”
On his part, General Manager of Gift FM Jalingo, Emmanuel Ejim, commended the government for its support while pledging to sustain the broadcast of government programmes.
Ejim appealed to the state government for critical interventions including perimeter fencing for the station, improved road access, and provision of a 33KVA power supply.
“These measures,” he stressed, “will significantly enhance the effectiveness of the station in serving the people of Taraba State.”
