As at today, the people of Delta are not disappointed in Governor Sheriff Oborevwori .
Some notable projects and achievements include :
Road Infrastructure: Over 513 road projects are being handled by the Ministries of Highways and Urban Roads, and Rural and Riverine Roads, spanning over 1,500 kilometers.
Each local government area has been allocated a mandatory N2 billion specifically for road development.
Empowerment Programs: The administration has enabled over 250,000 persons with cash and other modes of aid through Delta CARES and other initiatives.
Additionally, 2,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises have received financial grants to grow their businesses.
Education: The administration has built and equipped Schools across the state and has also approved the recruitment of over 3,000 primary school teaching and non-teaching staff and paid over N1 billion in bursaries to more than 60,000 deserving tertiary students.
Healthcare: The administration has upgraded facilities in several general hospitals, provided funding to numerous Colleges of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Technology, and established a College of Health Technology at Ovrode.
Support for Local Governments: The administration guaranteed a N40 billion facility to offset arrears of retirement benefits owed to local government pensioners and has continued to support local governments in delivering good governance to the people.
Security: The administration has provided funding and equipments to security agencies in the state .
