The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed that two suspects previously declared wanted in connection with the assault on the Ahoada East Sole Administrator, Hon. Goodluck Iheanachor, have voluntarily turned themselves in.
Mr. Hector Ekakita, Chief Security Officer (CSO), and Mr. Aloni Olodi, Chief of Staff (COS), reported to the Command headquarters on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, on July 10, 2025, at about 3:00 p.m.
According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the duo was interviewed by the Commissioner of Police and the Command’s management team before being handed over to the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
The Command is appealing to the public for any useful information that could assist in the ongoing probe, assuring that the process will be transparent and justice will be pursued diligently.
The Rivers State Police Command reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order across the state.
