In a remarkable display of resilience, discipline, and teamwork, cadets of the Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) on Saturday, April 12, 2025, participated in a rigorous Endurance Trekking Exercise as part of their standard police training regimen.

The exercise, a critical component of their physical and tactical training, saw the cadets traverse challenging terrains and varying weather conditions, simulating real-life operational scenarios. The long-distance trek was designed to test and enhance their physical fitness, stamina, mental toughness, navigation abilities, and unit cohesion.

Conducted under strict safety protocols, the endurance trek reflects the Academy’s commitment to shaping well-rounded, operationally ready officers capable of performing effectively under pressure.

Commending the successful completion of the exercise, the Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, AIG Patrick Adedeji Atayero (B.Sc, M.Sc, MBA, PSC), lauded the cadets for their exceptional conduct, high endurance levels, and unwavering discipline.

“This exercise is a testament to the dedication and preparedness of our cadets. Their performance today underscores the quality of training at POLAC and the future readiness of the Nigeria Police Force,” AIG Atayero stated.

The Commandant also extended his appreciation to the officers and men of the Academy for their professionalism and continued support in maintaining the high standards expected of the institution.
