The Chairman, Police Service Commission, Ex-IGP Solomon E. Arase, NPM, fdc, FCIArB, CFR met with the Association of Retired Police Officers (ARPON) led by its President, AIG Steven Aiyewumi (rtd) at the Commission’s Corporate Headquarters, Jabi, Abuja.
The meeting which was at the behest of the Chairman, lasted for more than two hours, whereby critical issues affecting the Force were discussed.
The ARPON President in his remark, commended the pragmatism of the initiative, said a new era has begun.
The Chairman, while thanking the retired Police Officers for honouring the invitation, reiterate the fact that, the essence of the Retired Officers’ Consultative Forum is to generate veritable ideas towards repositioning the Nigeria Police Force for effective performance and charged them to show commitment to the forum towards moving the affairs of the Force forward.
