A community youth leader in Umusadege, Ndokwa West local government area of Delta, Mr. Nnamdi Omalife has called for the arrest and prosecution of the killers of two youths of the community.
Our correspondent gathered that the victims, who were indigenes of Umusadege, worked as security guards attached to Midwestern oil and gas company in the community.
They were reportedly shot dead by unidentified gunmen on Sunday, Jan. 12 2020.
However, Omalife, who spoke with our correspondent on Wednesday in Asaba, urged the police to step up investigation to ensure the killers are apprehended and prosecuted.
“We cannot sit back and watch our youths cut down in their prime. This is a crime to much for our community to bear.
“Our appeal is that security agents must as a matter of urgent neccesity, fish out the perpetrators of this dastardly crime.
“As a peace-loving community, the people of Umusadege demands justice for the killing of our kinsmen,” Omelife said.
