Virgin fitness club president, Kachikwu, members splashes cash on cerebral palsy patients

President of Virgin’s Fitness and Wellness Club in Lagos, Jon Tudy Kachikwu has led his members to donate generously to cerebral palsy home I Lagos.

The club donated a whopping N600, 000 to the home for upkeep and well being of the patients.

Speaking to Razornewsng.com after the donation, Kachikwu appreciated members of his club for giving generously to a noble course.

According to him, “I must appreciate all distinguished Virgins Fitness members who have made this visit to the Cerebral Palsy Centre a success.

“I believe all those who visited saw that it was worthwhile. May God continue to bless them all. They are the best”.

He lauded the charity committee for giving the club a good outing.

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of disorders that affect muscle movement and coordination. In many cases, vision, hearing, and sensation are also affected.

The word “cerebral” means having to do with the brain. The word “palsy” means weakness or problems with body movement.

CP is the most common cause of motor disabilities in childhood.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Trusted Source, it affects at least 1.5 to 4 out of every 1,000 children worldwide.
