It was pomp and ceremony galore as the Group Managing Director of Rainoil, Gabriel Ogbechie and his wife hosted thousands of children from Idumuje-Ugboko, Onicha-Ugbo, Issele-Uku and other neighbouring towns to a lavish Christmas party.
The event, which took place at his country home in Idumuje Ugboko was also attended by mothers who accompanied the kids.
The Ogbechies, apart from feeding the children and entertaining them with mascotts and other fun games, shared beautiful back packs containing many ‘goodies’ to the kids.
Speaking after the event, Mrs. Ogbechie noted that the kids party was hosted under the platform of Gabriel Ogbechie Foundation.
According to her: ” This is a season of giving. We find joy in adding smiles to the faces of hundreds of these kids. The planning was hectic but we thank God everything came out well.”
The foundation had reached out to a lot of school children and lifted a lot of communities since its founding.
