The Executive Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has approved the appointment of Anioma’s icons, Mr. Laurence Chukwudi Izegbu as his Senior Special Assistant on Local Content Policy (Oil and Gas).
The new Senior Special Assistant holds degrees in Petroleum Management from prestigious institutions in the UK, and has been instrumental in the success of several organisations at home and in the diaspora.
Mr. Izegbu, a prolific social commentator and writer, also has qualifications in Strategic Management and analytical writing. He brings to this position his wealth of experience in the area of strategy deployment and management.
Prior to his appointment, Izegbu is a senior managing partner with Cil Consulting, a company with specialty in Advanced Writing, proof reading and training.
Izegbu is also a grassroots mobiliser for his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
His appointment was welcomed with pomp and ceremony in his birth place, Onicha-Ugbo, Aniocha North LGA of Delta State as indigenes extoled his virtues and commended the state government for the honour bestowed on their son.
