It was celebration time, yesterday, at Ese & Ehis Ventures Limited, 5, Aina Akera Street, off Orile Road, Agege, Lagos, as its founder/CEO, Mr. Festus Ehigbochie, was honoured by a leading online news platform, Cornerstonenewsng.com, with the Humanitarian Business Executive of the Year 2000 award.

Ehiogbochie was honored for his exceptional qualities, hi philanthropy, employment creation and taking jobless youths off the streets.
During the presentation of the award, president of the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN), Odita Sunday, extolled the former police officer who left the police force to venture into the business world: “He served in different capacities as a police officer. He was an investigator, detective and also worked in the Police Public Relations Office and other places.
“He was an exemplary personality, very clean and dressed so well that people found it difficult to differentiate him from a banker or legal practitioner. While he in the force, many loved him, including journalists.
“He has won many awards, but the Cornerstonenews award is unique, as the management sat and deliberated on a few Nigerians that could receive the award and he was among the few chosen ones.
“We must sincerely commend you, your beautiful wife who is always supporting you, morally, spiritually and business-wise, and the entire staff of the company.”
On his part, a consultant to Cornerstonenews, Mr. Christopher Oji, advised the recipient to keep up the good works, especially giving jobs to the youths.
“You may not know the extent of the good work you are doing, but we, as crime reporters, appreciate anyone who is assisting the youths in employment issues. Thanks to you and your wife and your entire staff, as you are helping the law enforcement agencies to fight crime with job creation. God will reward you abundantly,” he said.
