Police recruitment: Zamfara Police Command commences medical screening for candidates

The Zamfara State Police Command has informed the public, especially indigenes of the state who sat for the recently conducted Computer Based Test (CBT) that, medical screening exercise is scheduled to commence from May 17 to May 31, 2022 at the 17 Police Zonal Command Headquarters nationwide.

To this end, Candidates from Zamfara are advised to check their application status and print out their medical screening slip to know if qualified for the next stage of the recruitment screening exercise and the date indicated against his or her name. According to Zamafara police spokesman, SP Mohammed Shehu, “Similarly, the centre of the medical screening will be at the Zone 10 Police Headquarters, Sokoto.

“All applicants are to appear at the screening venue in their clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following mandatory basic requirements:

National Identity Number (NIN);

Original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’ Level Result(s), Certificate of Origin and Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age – neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached;

Printout of application submission confirmation page

“Duly completed Guarantor’s form

Any candidate who fails to present any of the above requirements will not be allowed for the screening.”

 

He said the Commissioner of police, CP Ayuba N. Elkanah congratulates the successful candidates and reminds them that the recruitment exercise is absolutely free of charge and without any pecuniary obligation.

He assured that, the exercise will be carried out in accordance with the best tradition of transparency and accountability, and called on them to be wary of online imposters and other criminal elements who might want to advantage of the exercise to dupe innocent applicants.
