The Nigeria Police has arrested a woman, Ihsanatu Shaaibu who was seen in a viral video physically assaulting a minor and inflicting grievious injury on her.
Spokesman of the police, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi who confirmed the arrest, noted that the high command would ensure that justice is served.
According to him in a short message of social media, “In relation to the viral video where a woman identified as Ihsanatu Shaaibu physically abused and caused grievous injuries to her stepdaughter Fa’iza Bala, a 5 year old.
“The Suspects have been arrested today, Thursday 9th Jan 2025, and will be prosecuted as soon as investigations are concluded. We will keep you abreast of the proceedings. Thank you”.
