The National Youth Council Of Nigeria(NYCN), the apex Youth body in Nigeria ably led by *Comrade Abdullahi Asuku Almustapha* commiserate with the Leader of Afenifere, *Pa Reuben Fasoranti* on the death of his daughter, *Mrs Olufunke Olakunrin.*
Recall that, Mrs Olufunke Olakunrin was on last Friday shot by suspected kidnappers on mask according to eye witness report along Benin/Ore express way and also abducted one of the occupants of the vehicle she was travelling with on her way back to Lagos from Akure.
This act is one of many that has surfaced in our society in past and recent time which has thrown Nigerians and road commuters into a state of despair and apprehension to move in and around the country with so much trepidation.
In the light of this act, the NYCN urge the government at all levels including relevant government agencies in charge of security to nip this in the bud as early has possible because the ethnic and religious colouration giving to this many perfidious act by armed bandits is seriously threatening the sovereignty and unity of this nation.
We at the NYCN, implore the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigeria Army and other relevant security agencies to intensify more efforts in fishing out the perpetrators of this heinous act as well see to the issues of alarming insecurity is reduced to the bearest minimum in our beloved country.
