Ned Nwoko Felicitates With Nigerians On Independence

Delta born philanthropist, Hon.Prince Ned Nwoko has felicitated with Nigerians as they celebrate the Nation’s 60th Independence anniversary.

In a statement in Abuja, Hon. Nwoko a former member of the House of Representatives said Nigeria stands on the threshold of history with her diamond jubilee.

Prince Nwoko affirmed that the glorious end to British colonialism on October 1st 1960 would continue to evoke pleasant memories and noted that there is still hope for Nigeria.

He said the founding fathers of Nigeria deserve timeless honour as they left a legacy of pride and self identity among the people.

According to Prince Nwoko, the survival of Nigeria since 60 years of nationhood under complex diversity marked a tenacity for unity.

The international lawyer and billionaire, said the elixir for the greatness of Africa’s most populous Nation in the face of challenges was a collective conscience inspired by patriotism, integrity hard work and honesty.

He urged all leaders and the citizens to help build a Nation characterized by peace, development and social justice, noting that there must be a corresponding responsibility between the leadership and followers for a better Nigeria.

Hon. Nwoko commended President Muhammadu Buhari for keeping Nigeria together in spite of endemic social, political and economic constraints.

Prince Nwoko who helped Nigeria to come out of economic recession through his efforts on the Paris Club loans refund, assured of a greater Nation with the resolve of all.
