Funeral rites of Mrs. Elizabeth Adaeke Ofili (nee Iyama), who died recently at the age 88, will commence on Friday, May 5 with Requiem mass at Holy family Catholic Church, Life Camp, Abuja at 6:00pm.
According to his son, Victor Chukwudi Ofili, this will be followed by another Requiem mass at All Saints Catholic Church, Onicha Ugbo, Delta State on Wednesday, May 17 at 5:00pm.
On Thursday, May 18, her body leaves the mortuary at Issele Uku, to her father’s compound in Idumu Odegwe, Umuolo, Onicha Ugbo, Delta State at 7:00am, after which her body arrives at her compound in Idumu Odegwe, Ogbe Obi, Onicha Ugbo at 8:30am.
Her body arrives for mass at All Saints Catholic Church, Onicha Ugbo for the funeral mass the same day at 10:00am after which her body will be interred at her house immediately.
Reception and entertainment follow immediately after the interment at Ifeyinwa Primary School (Field), Ogbe Obi, Onicha Ugbo.
The Traditional Iya Ego holds on Friday, May 19 at 2:00pm, while Thanksgiving mass hold at All Saints Catholic Church, Onicha Ugbo at 10:00am.
