Lagos business man remanded at Kirikiri for threatening to kill colleague with Okija

The police in Lagos, yesterday, dragged a 31-year-old business man, Anaka Onyedika to court for threatening to kill a fellow business man with Okija shrine.
The case which came up at Magistrate court 5, Ogba, Lagos was heard by Magistrate Owolabi L. A.
In a four count charge presented by the police prosecutor, Supol Josephine, the suspect, Anaka Onyedika was alleged to have on the 13th day of December, 2023 at about 9.39hrs at Oworonshoki, Lagos magisterial District, did conspire amongst others to commit felony to wit: written threat to life, cyber stalking and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
That you Anaka Onyedika on the same date, time and place, in the aforesaid Magistrate District did knowingly sent a threat message to one Patrick Ogbonna in that you are going to use both day and night to pursue him and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 232 of the Criminal Lagos state, 2015.
That you Anaka Onyedika on the same date, time and place, in the aforementioned Magisterial District did knowingly sent a threat message to one Patrick Ogbonna that his cup is full, whatever he sees, he will take and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 232 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.
That you Anaka Onyedika and others at large on the 17th day of December, 2023 at about 1740 hrs, in the aforesaid Magistrate District, did knowingly and intentionally sent a video coverage via your phone of a man killed and placed inside a casket who refused to honor an invitation from Okija Shrine to one Patrick Ogbonna and threatened to kill him in the same way the man in the casket was killed if he fails to honour invitation from Okija shrine and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 24(1)(2)(a)(1) of the cybercrime Act, 2015.
When the case came up Magistrate Owolola L.A at Magistrate court 5, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos the accused pleaded not guilty. The Magistrate directed that he should be remanded at Kirikiri prison pending when he will fulfil the bail condition of N300,00 and two sureties with three years tax clearance, all to be verified by the court register. The victim was represented by Bar.Ikechukwu Chiaha and Ureshime Orolife.
