Reprieve appears to be far from embattled former Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, as the state house of assembly has reportedly concluded plans to investigate him over the purchase of buses worth N45 billion allegedly without the approval of the House.
The motion was raised by Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu representing Eti-Osa constituency 02 at plenary on Tuesday.
The lawmakers who contributed to the issue unanimously agreed that the Mr. Ambode must be investigated as stated in the section 128 of the 1999 Constitution.
