The Chairperson Police Officers Wives Association, Katsina State chapter, Hajiya (Dr.) Fadimatu Sanusi Buba has donated food items to families of junior officers.
The items include bags of rice, grains, sugar, cartons of spaghetti, Macroni, and indomie, which were yesterday shared at the POWA children school, Sabon Layi police barracks, Katsina.
Hajiya Rabiya Daura was among the dignitaries that witnessed the presentation of the welfare packages.
In her remarks, the POWA Chairperson stated that the palliatives were shared to reduce the inpact of Covid- 19 on police families and also to boost their morale as most of their husbands are at the frontline fighting banditry and enforcement of Quarantine Regulations for the Covid-19 pandemic.
