Highly sought after Lagos based singer, K-Melody a.k.a Mr Secular may have taken the initiative of not leaving everything at the door step of the government as he just made a laudable effort in contributing to the development of the Centre of Excellence, Lagos state. He just dropped a music track titled, Na my Lagos, Na your Lagos. The song aimed at sensitizing Lagosians on how to conduct themselves in such a way the state and the dwellers will be better for it presently enjoys air play both on radio and television.
In a chat with the popular and talented singer Juju singer, he said he felt there was a need to do the composition and put it out there as his own contribution to make the state move forward. ‘ I have heard people say there is a personal motive behind ,Na my Lagos , Na your Lagos, but I am confident to say there is no motive behind it other than to let our people listen and do what is right. Governance is the responsibility of all of us so; this is just my own contribution. It’s not as if I got money from anyone to do it, it’s basically my contribution’ K-Melody said.
Na my Lagos, Na your Lagos, is a track that sensitized the people of Lagos on why they should obey traffic laws, dump refuse at the appropriate places and why they should join hands with the Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration to ensure the state attains greater height.
K-Melody had after the general elections released a track to congratulate Lagosians for picking Sanwo-Olu as their governor. Mr Secular, as this singer is also called has a number of albums to his credit among which are, My God and Eniyan Laso mi.
