Ika people in Ika Local Government Area based in Abuja came out in their numbers at the weekend to honour one of their illustrious son, Managing Director of Monaco Security Ltd, Lucky Ehiwuogun Monye as he celebrated his 50th birthday anniversary.
The event hall at Grand Cubana Hotel was filled to the brim as both young and old from Agbor land extolled the virtues of Monye whom they all call ‘a good man’.
The event was attended by members of Ika Progressive Union, Rotary Club of Abuja, Private security practitioners, several Agbor groups and friends and families of Monye.
Some of the guests attested to the generousity and philanthropic spirit of Monye, whom they all described as a helper of the downtrodden.
Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky was born on 15th June 15, 1973 in Agbor, Ika South Local
Government Area of Delta State. His secondary education was at Ika Grammar School Agbor.
Agraduate of Banking and Finance from the Institute of Management and Technology Enugu.
He holds a Postgraduate Diploma and MBA in Management both from Imo State
University Owerri.
He holds MSC in Cyber Security from Nasarawa State University, Keffi. Nasarawa State.
He is a member of the prestigious Nigerian Institute of Management. He is a Rotarian
Per excellence and a Past President of Rotary Club. He is also a Past Assistant
Governor in District 9125.
Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky is a Security Consultant and the Managing Director of Monaco Ventures Nigeria Limited. He is a member of the Association of Licensed Private Security Practitioners of Nigeria (ALPSPN). A member of International Institute of Professional Security (IIPS).
He is an astute politician and ran for House of Assembly in 2018 with the desire to serve his constituency, Ika South Local Government Area. He also was an
Aspirant for House of Representatives in Ika Federal Constituency in 2022.
He is also the first Ambassador of Nigerian Super Eagles Supporters Club in Delta State.
Monye has earned numerous awards to his credit.
He is a social crusader, human welfarist and an environmental activist. He is the
President and Founder of Monye Ehiwuogwu Lucky Foundation.
He is a philanthropist of note and loves amongst other things Golf, scrabble, Table Tennis, Badminton, reading, travelling, adventure, mentoring and
imparting knowledge to young professionals.
