The strides of the Okowa administration
have been described as unique and enduring for the past five years.
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on health monitoring and a prominent member of the Delta State enforcement committee on COVID-19, Dr. Michael Nwoko, said in a live interview on Delta television “political kitchen”, a popular program with Grey Almona Ugochukwu, that the Okowa’s administration has excelled without comparison in health, infrastructure development, sports, Agriculture, Job/wealth creation, youth empowerment amongst others.
Dr. Nwoko, noted that Governor Okowa’s head start initiative in health insurance has helped to improve remarkably the standard of healthcare in the state.
On covid-19, he restated the drive of government to prevent disastrous consequences of a second wave of the deadly virus in the state.
Nwoko also paid glowing tribute to the Okowa’s administration’s proactive measures to improving security in the state with the launch of operation Delta hawk.
The SSA to Governor Okowa was inducted into the Health Care Committee of Pearland Chamber of Commerce, Texas, United States.
The Pearland Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee is an International Health Care Committee with missions to provide; Resources that includes access to information regarding healthcare options in the fields of policy, advocacy and compliance.
Nwoko as an SA to the Governor (Special Duties) on Contributory Health Commission, has received loud accolades from several quarters for playing major roles in driving key health care policies and programmes of the Okowa administration down to the grassroots level.
