First Nigerian woman to bag Professorship in Digital Forensic Accounting, Audit and Investigation from UK Varcity

Meet 45yrs old Prof. Zainab Gobir, the first woman in Nigeria, first for both men and women from Charisma University, and among the handful in the world to become Professor in Digital Forensic Accounting, Audit and Investigation from Charisma University, Turks and Caico Island, UK.

Prof. Gobir is from Kwara state and she is currently the Executive Director of Economic Regulation and Strategic Planning for Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulation Authority (NMDPRA), with good performance records both in public and private sectors since beginning of her academic journey.

The Prof received her professorship at the university on 14th of July, 2023 and was decorated by the US President, Joe Biden, who was represented by Director of Defense Intelligence, Daniel Minton, and Head of Cyber Security for Africa, Colonel Ryan Hellerstedt, with message of encouragement and congratulating Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for such achievement, and for supporting women education in Nigeria.
