Esewezie flags off 9-Day free medical outreach in Akwukwu-Igbo

The chairman of Oshimili-North Local Government Area (ONLGA), Hon Innocent Esewezie has flagged off a 9-Day free medical outreach in Akwukwu-Igbo, capital of the council.

Local coucil source told Razornewsng.com that the Executive Chairman officially flagged off the outreach yesterday.

According to one of the top LGA officails, “He took the opportunity to go round the center and interacted with patients who had undergone surgeries and those awaiting surgeries and other sections where people were awaiting one form of treatment or another.” The source said.

The chairman assured the patients that they would not be charged any dime for the treatment.

His words: “The cases we cannot handle here we will refer you. And we will follow it up. And in following it up, I want to assure you that you will not pay a dime. The council will be there for you.”

Also present at the flag-off yesterday was the Obi of Akwukwu-Igbo, HRM Obi David Azuka (JP); the Vice Chairman of ONLGA, Amb. Uju Okolo; the SLG to the LGA, Hon. Austin Ajufo. Others include the Head of Personnel Management, the Chairman of ONLGA Local Health Authority Board, the Executive Secretary of ONLGA Local Health Authority and other appointees.
