State Political Appointees in Aniocha North (SPAAN) have commenced Payment of West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) registration fee for no fewer than 100 indigent students in the council.

According to one of the donors, a Special Assistant to governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Francis Iwedike Osedume, ten beneficiaries each would be drawn from ten federal wards in the local government.

Payment has commenced on Friday, February 12, 2021.

“In line with Covid 19 safety compliance only few personalities would be invited to the ceremony in selected schools.

“Members of SPAAN are by this information invited to inform their various nominees from their wards and to attend the ceremony in the schools within their wards.

Ten persons who were beneficiaries of the gesture from SPAAN are students of Onicha-Ugbo secondary school. They are: Iduh Amaka Fidelix, Obi Luke, Okoh Ifechukwude Favour, Olomina Henry, Ofili Ekene, Azike Ifechukwude Kingsley, Blessing Madu, Okafor Unoma Thelma, Emmanuel Ndudi and Enuagwuna Ogorchukwu.

A cash sum of N250,000 was presented to the principal of Onicha Ugbo Mixed Secondary School, by SPAAN WAEC committee chairman, Mr. Peter Okolie, for the enrollment of ten indigent students of Onicha-Ugbo.
