Delta State House of Assembly hopeful, Chief Shimite Bello has pledged to operate an open-door policy if elected elected to represent her Oshimili North Local Government Area in the Delta State House of Assembly.
Shimite, who is hoping to cling her PDP primary ticket at the next primary election, has expressed passion for leadership during her tenure as an aide to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
According to her, “I will Run an Open Door Policy and be Equitable in my Approach to Dealing with my Constituents
“There will be gender balance at the back of my mind. Where the men are short changed especially in areas of Grassroots economic relief, where there is a strong bias towards women at the bottom of the pyramid we would look into such Anomalies and where there is a bias towards men in giving board appointments. We will see more women in the board room.”
