The Lagos State Government is set to prosecute Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, for hosting a birthday party for her husband, JJC Skillz, in violation of a lockdown imposed to tackle coronavirus, the Nation has reported.
The paper also explains that the 42-year-old will appear before the Ogba Magistrate Court 1 at 11 a.m. on Monday and the prosecuting team will be from the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP).
Funke was arrested on Sunday, although she had earlier apologised for her actions.
