Rev. Sam Ogbodo, the Senior Pastor of King’s Palace Church International has called on lawyers and other stakeholders to support Victor Foundation for Humanity and Human Rights, to achieve its target.

Ogbodo made the call during the inauguration of the foundation on Sunday in Abuja.

He said the inauguration of the foundation was timely in view of the increasing level of human rights abuses in the country.

The cleric said the focus of the foundation was in line with the practice of Jesus Christ during His time on earth.

According to him, Jesus gave rights and privileges to those who never had as was recorded in the Bible.

According him, this was where the Jews denied the woman with the issue of blood from relating with people.

“Jesus did not just allowed her to come into the congregation, but even with a touch on His garment, she was healed and became whole.

“What this foundation is designed to do is to reach out to people who had suffered violence as well as those, whose rights have been abused.

“Our prayer is that God will help the NGO to raise partners to achieve its goals of service to humanity,” he said.

In his remark, the Founder of the NGO, Mr Victor Onyekachi, said the focus of the foundation was borne out of passion and inspiration to save humanity from human rights abuses.

He said the services of the foundation would be rendered to the vulnerable members of the society, the voiceless and those suffering without having anyone to confide in at zero cost.

“Our foundation is available for to provide legal representation for every level of human right violation across the country.

He said the foundation was currently consulting with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to enter into an MoU for a robust service delivery.
