Attention Delta Youths:
A graphic impression of present realities in our clime advance a contraption where silent bystanders, intimidated voices, un-ideological conformist and self preservers are seen as loyal entities. They are presented as better fit and proper for leadership by state actors. They are then empowered and vested with leadership over and above….vocal advocates, constructive dissenters, courageous visioners who add their voices and actions to topical issues or make bold but subtle suggestions. Capacity is then seen as disloyalty, disrespectful or too vocal and independent minded to be allowed a space for growth.
The outcome of the above is a mediocre setting where people who should have nothing to do with leadership are vested with elected and appointed mandates to mismanage our space.
This is the quagmire today…..!!
There are few exceptions, but too infinitesimal to count.
Solution:
Manage your intentions and emotions, deepen self development, guide your reputation, know when the game is up and leave with ovation.
