Foremost Biographer, Okojie set to unveil four major works in celebration of 60th birthday

Renowned African biographer and media expert, Dr. Luke Okojie, is gearing up to mark his 60th birthday with the launch of four major publications.

Set for October 18, 2024, the new works include Nigerian Role Models, Volume 3; 100 Distinguished Nigerian Engineers, Volume 2; 50 Pace Setters of Edo State; and 50 Distinguished Nigerians in Diaspora.

The official physical unveiling will take place on December 7, 2024, in Lagos.

Dr. Okojie, whose impressive career spans public relations, advertising, and print journalism, is the Managing Director and CEO of Accolade Communications Limited, a media company that has significantly contributed to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.

His work emphasized wealth creation, employment, and the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

A seasoned communicator, his expertise extends to event planning, marketing, strategic planning, and public speaking.

A graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Dr. Okojie has continued to advance his education through postgraduate studies.

In 2017, he was appointed as the Nigerian representative of the European-American University, where he also serves as Pro-Chancellor and a member of the University’s Court and Council.

His leadership roles include Executive Council Member of the Strategic Finance and Administrative Institute, Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, and Certified Management Consultant.

Dr. Okojie is also the National Programme Coordinator for the United Nations Peace and Positive Living Awareness Centre (UN-PEPOLAC) and a trustee of the Guild of Professional Biographers, Africa.

Recognized for his contributions to biographical writing, Dr. Okojie was named Most Outstanding Biographer of the Year in 2020.

His forward-thinking approach is evident in his growing interest in digital marketing, as well as his advocacy for gender equality, which earned him recognition as a HeForShe champion by Dame Pauline Tallen, Nigeria’s former Minister of Women Affairs.

Beyond his professional accolades, Dr. Okojie is deeply involved in community development, philanthropy, and reform initiatives.

His charismatic leadership and commitment to excellence have garnered him respect across Nigeria’s socio-economic spectrum.

As convener and Executive Secretary of Accolade Ambassadors, he continues to promote unity and collaboration among diverse groups.
